FAQs
Your holiday in Innervillgraten
Many details apply to both, the mountain hut and the apartments at Giatla Hof. However, some aspacts are specifically tailored to each accommodation.
-
When can we check in and when is check out?
The hut and the aparments are available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. The key will be in the door, allowing you to enter the property directly upon arrival. Earlier check-in is possible by arrangement. Check-out is by 10:00 AM.
Since we do not have a traditional reception and offer flexible check-in and check-out times, we kindly ask you to contact us shortly before arrival and departure by phone or message so that we can be there to personally welcome and bid your farewell.

Length of stay
To make the winding journey to the end of the Villgraten Valley worthwhile, we recommend a stay of at least three nights with us in Kalkstein. Perhaps at the end of the valley, you'll find the beginning of an unforgettable getaway.
Our alpine hut and the holiday apartments are available for check-in any day of the week, including weekends. There is no need for a Saturday check-in or check-out.
Our alpine hut is rented for exclusive use; we do not offer dormitory-style accommodations.
-
What equipment is available in the kitchen?
Our cabin and the apartments are fully equipped. Salt and pepper mills are provided for you. However, you will need to bring your own spices, oils etc. Each guest has their own culinary preferences, so we deliberately refrain from supplying oil, vinegar and other spices.

Contact us
Best to reach us by phone or email. We are happy to answer any questions you may have in advance that haven't been addressed on our website.
We read all your messages and emails. Due to conversations with our dear guests, taking care of the calves or outdoor work, a response may sometimes take a little time.
What is wonderfully possible here, inspired by Astrid Lindgren (1907-2002), is to “also have time to sit and just look around”.
